Interview with Harold Lavalley about his experience working in the George Wallace Paper Mill from 1920-1965 . He discusses what it was like working in the mill during the depression , World War II , and union movements . He also discusses gender differences in pay and type of work , the hazards of working with paper machines , insurance and retirement benefits , and the creation of the Credit Union that helped their workers .
